Event Description
The best way to retain volunteers is to provide a positive and meaningful volunteer experience. In this session, you will learn how to create a volunteer engagement training to teach your staff how to supervise and engage volunteers.
·Presenter Lauren Kirwin is the Young Adult Engagement Manager on the Volunteer Engagement Team at Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver. For eight years, she has engaged community members through various non-profit organizations and is dedicated to providing opportunities for young people to give back to their community and find their passion. Lauren is a new member of the DOVIA board and is excited to provide professional development experiences for professionals in volunteerism.
