Event Description
Description: Join us for this upcoming DOVIA Innovation Exchange. This new series is focused on bringing volunteer professionals together to drive innovation in our field. Our goal is to get together to share best practices and new ideas. The host facility will also be providing a tour of their facility to see how they run their volunteer program. This series is for DOVIA members, so if you want to attend please become a member today!
This session will be hosted by Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance on Thursday, October 23rd from 9-10:30 a.m. followed by the option for an hour long docent tour following the discussion. The session topic will focus on volunteers filling leadership roles within a volunteer program. This session will be capped at 30 participants so register early.
Attendees can choose between 5 tour options (Primates, Carnivores, Tropical Discovery, Down Under, and Toyota Elephant Passage).
